I thought I would send you an email regarding the water main burst on Watford Road. I would like you to pass on my thanks to your reinstatement Contractor SQS especially the Agent on site Laszlo from SQS. As you know having Watford Road closed causes major disruption in Brent but thanks to the superb effort of Laszlo and the SQS reinstatement teams they got the road opened and traffic flowing back to normal.

Also with their co-operation we managed to sort out the traffic management at the roundabout at Watford Road and Harrow Road to eliminate the multiway lights so again the traffic could flow virtually normal until they can carry out the final reinstatement.

Here’s hoping SQS remain in Brent for a long time to come as they are so proficient and helpful in getting Brent’s roads back to normal and saving lots of complaints from residents

If only all companies were as good as SQS. The whole operation went exactly to plan. The street was cleaner than when you started with minimum inconvenience. Friendly staff and sophisticated equipment. Congratulations on a job well done!

The re-instatement is of a very high standard – the best I’ve seen. I cycle to work as many people do around Cambridge and it is often really annoying to have to deal with a bumpy road after the road works have taken place.

This is the first and only instance that I have seen where holes have been filled carefully and neatly, no bumpy edges and with a fine tarmac (unlike the potholes that get a shovel of lumpy tarmac in their general direction). I would be very pleased if you could get the County’s contract for road repairs (and would be happy to provide a reference).

I am writing to convey my thanks to all your employees who were involved in the reinstatement of our block paved driveway earlier this week after it was dug up by UK Power. All your employees were so professional, polite and happy throughout the operation. I must also mention Nick in the office who cleared up a minor problem quickly and with no fuss.

Please could you pass on our sincere thanks to Taff and the teams involved in the restoration and reinstatement of the 24” burst in Cecil Road and the 14” burst in the High Street Harrow. Under Taffs leadership and direction the teams demonstrated commitment and professionalism in a difficult working environment. The entire teams are a credit to SQS and there supply chain and I was delighted and felt privileged to be part of and work with such talented individuals and teams.
