Training Academy

The SQS training academy centre of excellence enables new employees and apprentices to be trained ‘The SQS Way’, delivering best practice through our people. Our employees care about getting it right because they feel valued by SQS, our clients and customers.

We have invested in a fantastic training facility and continue to offer the practical and people skills training that enables us to make a difference in the highways and reinstatement sector.

We have a long term goal of establishing a training school for young persons wishing to enter the industry. The driving force behind this is to raise the quality of the work in the industry as a whole and to secure a pool of talented individuals who can continue the level of excellence that is associated with SQS.

Our goal is to use our Training Academy to deliver accredited industry related training programmes, to develop and enhance the skills of our people thus ensuring a competent and compliant workforce.

SQS’s commitment to exceptional quality reinstatement is underpinned by the importance we place on ensuring all employees receive the support and training necessary to succeed.

A new employee with some years industry background started at SQS. His initial work was assessed as not meeting the high quality standards required by SQS. He was placed on a week long re-training programme at the training academy.

Following the intensive training period, as well as a thorough grounding in Ontrack, the operative was redeployed to site. The high quality of work subsequently delivered is shown in the picture. This job prompted a number of very positive testimonials from the main client contractor.
