“As we start the New Year, I thought it would be nice to share a little heart-warming story from one of our projects in Chalfont St Peter.
Our engineering team have been working away on a very tricky little cul-de-sac and as usual they have been making friends with the locals. However, there is one resident that stands out, a wonderful lady called Anne. Anne is a semi-retired lady who spends most of her free time helping the NHS. Anne had been feeding the lads home cooked meals like Shepards Pie, Lasagne and Fish and Chips every time she is not at work. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
The team wanted to do something nice for Anne so they asked if I could swing by with some flowers and chocolates to say thank you. Now, as much as I love my job, I don’t always get called to site to do something nice, so I was more than happy to oblige. As I pulled in to see the lads and Anne was already out on the road handing out packed lunches to the guys! She is literally the worlds nicest woman.
She was chuffed to bits when we called her over and surprised her with the flowers and chocolates and all too happy to pose for a picture with her favourite engineering team.”
