Highly Commended Gold Award
City of London Considerate Contractors Scheme
SQS are delighted to announce we have once again been awarded with the highly commended Gold Award in the City of London Corporation Considerate Contractors Scheme. The City of London’s Considerate Contractor Scheme (CCS) challenges contractors to strive for the best standards in the industry, awarding those that consistently perform to the highest levels with an industry respected Gold Award. The five principles used for scoring:
- Safety – contractors must attain the highest levels of health and safety possible
- Planning – best practice must be demonstrated with client and design team engaged
- Liaison – engagement with key stakeholders before and throughout the project
- Site Environment – protection and enhancement of the areas surrounding site
- Cleanliness – sites must be professional in appearance and well managed.

Our Operations Director and LPN Contract Client Manager proudly lead their team to the award ceremony to accept this award. Much to the surprise of everybody, our Area Contracts Manager Andy was surprised with an Individual Achievement Award. The contract management team rightfully enjoyed their celebrations in London and then went on to meet all the operative staff, of whom the award would not be possible without. A very well done to all our people working in the City of London, keeping our customers and each other safe everyday.
