In-house training delivers results

Promoting talent from within is a cornerstone of our success. We are proud of the many people at SQS who have progressed from front line operational or junior office roles to become managers.

Recognising the additional skills that are needed in managerial roles we have worked with industry consultant Thomas Enright Associates Ltd to develop an in-house bespoke training programme for our first-time managers.

Our TOOLS 2 MANAGER programme complements our structured NVQ programme, and particularly focuses on the communication, coaching and performance management skills required by managers.

The first cohort of 16 managers completed their stage 1 modules in December and have provided great feedback.
