Making A Difference
Jackie, our Customer Care Officer on our Gas Mains Replacement contract developed a wonderful relationship with one of our customers, Pam, when works were being carried out a year ago in her street.

Pam was struck down with Ataxia 10 years ago and was hospitalised for several months. She has since suffered life changing circumstances because of this. As Pam is unable to walk and has carers throughout the day, Jackie ensured that someone would be present when access was required and communicated with Pam throughout the works journey.
Jackie went over and beyond to arrange for the whole team to meet Pam making her feel comfortable and confident in her own home. Jackie still today pops in for cups of tea with Pam when her teams are working locally to the area. Talk about leaving a positive lasting impression!
In support of Ataxia, Pam makes keyrings to sell with all profits being donated to the Ataxia charity. After Jackie made us aware of this we purchased all keyrings made by Pam for Halloween and Christmas. Pam was over the moon when Jackie shared with her we wanted to purchase all the keyrings she had made.

Much to our customers delight, these keyrings have been gifted to our customers when carrying out our post care door knocks in October half term and the lead up to Christmas.
Jayde O’Connor, Customer Success Director said:
“I could not be prouder of Jackie and the wonderful people we have representing us at SQS. A big thank you to Jackie for putting a big smile on our customers faces, and making a positive difference to their day, however small it may be”
