SQS have worked with Affinity Water and its predecessor companies since 2004 to deliver a range of services including water main repair and maintenance, lead replacement programme and consequential damage reinstatement. A strong reputation for innovation, quality and excellence in customer service has been established during the delivery of these programmes.

A community-focused approach

Affinity Water is committed to becoming the leading community-focused water company in the UK. It has built its community delivery model around eight water resource zones. This allows Affinity Water to provide a unique service to the community in each zone. They have named each community after a local river to strengthen the links between customers, the water service and the importance of local water sources.

Aligned Delivery

To match the Affinity Water delivery model SQS have appointed a dedicated planner and area manager to each of the community areas. A single SQS point of contact in each community area has increased collaboration on a day to day basis. This ensures a responsive and reliable 24/7 service tailored to the needs of each community that harnesses the local knowledge of the SQS team.

A great result

With interfaces and hand-offs reduced the aligned approach has improved communication and ownership resulting in faster response and completion of works.
