The SQS vison is to be the industry leader for complete reinstatement solutions that protect the environment and enable growth of the circular economy. We have set ambitious goals to eliminate waste, maximise the use of recycled materials and green our emissions.
In 2007, we established QRS (Quality Recycling Solutions) Ltd to provide the in-house capability to take all the spoil arising from excavations and turn this back into high quality, fully approved backfill material. Recognised as a leader in the field we continue to innovate to provide a range of recycled aggregate materials for use within our client projects.
Carbon Footprint
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and are using the latest ‘telematics’ technology in our vehicle fleet to increase efficiency and reduce fuel usage. We recognise that on our journey to a sustainable future we must continue to innovate across all aspects of our operations to reduce any negative environmental impact.
Examples include the use of captured rainwater in our washdown vehicles, waste management plans for all our depots, and most recently research into the re-use of waste plastic as a replacement material in ‘black top’ surfacing.
Our management system is certified by BSI to ISO 14001:2015 environmental management standard across each of our group companies. Our recycling facilities are fully compliant with the relevant WRAP quality protocols.
