SQS are delighted to have been able to come to the rescue at a Hertfordshire pony sanctuary. The owner of the Two Oaks Pony Sanctuary in Berkhamsted made contact with SQS following damage to the pony sanctuary driveway. The Two Oaks Pony Sanctuary is a non-government funded horse and pony rescue and rehabilitation that relies completely on public generosity for its funding.

The driveway damage caused posed a risk to delaying access to the sanctuary for emergency animal treatment. Touched by the plight of the sanctuary the SQS team, led by Mick Chalkey, came to the rescue. Giving up their Saturday the team completed the driveway repair and reinstatement free of charge delighting the sanctuary owners, employees and supporters.

The sanctuary manager said:

“Today I was totally blown away and lost for words. SQS sent a team out and worked on the damaged drive. The workmen were totally amazing. So helpful, even lent a hand with the animals. words will never be enough for their generosity, thank you, the complete kindness of the company. I am so grateful and words will never be enough as a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.”

We would like to extend a BIG thank you to Mick Chalkley, Marius Lacatis, Madalin Iancu and Cristian Becan for all their hard work and for representing SQS in such a positive light, encouraging positive social media feedback and a very happy customer at the end of it.
