SQS are delighted to announce that they have won one of the prestigious NJUG awards at the November 2016 event.
The National Joint Utilities Group (NJUG) Awards ceremony took place in the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday evening. The event was hosted by the Chair of the House of Commons Transport Select Committee Louise Ellman MP, with Andrew Jones MP, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport.
The Annual NJUG Awards showcased examples of industry innovation that reflects the seven objectives of the NJUG’s Vision for Street Works. These are Safety, High Quality, Minimise Disruption, Keep the Public Fully Informed, Sustainable Methods and Materials, Avoid Damage to Underground Assets and Innovation.
Dan O’Mara, Street Works & Quality Compliance Director at SQS submitted a paper for an instrument which records reinstatement depth, jointly created with Oxford Plastic Ltd. We are absolutely delighted that SQS won and was awarded the High Quality Award.
