Successful Apprentice Open Day!

We are pleased to announce the successful recruitment following our recent Apprenticeship Open Day in September, which attracted strong interest from prospective candidates across the local community. 

Following this event, we are preparing to welcome 15 new apprentices who will commence their training in October 2025.

This initiative represents a key part of SQS’ commitment to identifying, developing, and supporting hidden talent within the communities in which we operate.

26 apprentices to date have qualified with SQS since 2022 with a 96% first time pass rate for functional skills (GCSE equivalent). All of these apprentices have been offered full time roles following this, many progressing to supervisors, planners or HGV drivers.

We are very proud of all the hard work and this is also reflected in our Ofsted 2024 inspection rated “Good”
