Supporting Urban Synergy

Happy New Year to you all. We wanted to share a recent good news story. SQS provided a vehicle and two drivers as a sponsor to support Urban Synergy Mentoring in London’s New Year Day Parade.

Urban Synergy is a charity based in Lewisham that supports young adults into business by way of mentoring and coaching. A charity close to our hearts with our keen interest in recruiting apprentices, as well as developing and progressing those people we already have within our business to be the best they can be.

Our vehicle was used as a float in the parade and we are delighted to announce that Urban Synergy, representing Lewisham WON the top prize for the best float at London’s New Year Day Parade. We even featured in the London News newspaper.

Our wonderful volunteers who drove the vehicle on the day, as well as our Transport Director who organised the sponsor put their heart into ensuring the parade was a success for the charity.

The feedback from the team about you Will and Dean has been amazing! Your enthusiasm, flexibility (waiting longer than expected to start driving to the start line) your willing to getting involved, through the wind and the rain and being real team players was fantastic. It was a real collaborative effort – Thank you!”
